Our Roots
At the heart of Medicine Woman Co. is a deep respect for nature, inherited from the rich traditions of the Cherokee heritage. Our founder, Barbara Chambers, grew up learning the ancient wisdom of natural healing, which she now blends with her extensive education in Human Biology with a concentration in Chemistry, and certifications in massage therapy, prenatal and birth doula services, environmental health science, and cosmetology.

From the moment Barbara decided to turn her passion into her profession, Medicine Woman Co. was born out of a desire to bring truly effective, all-natural skincare to the world. This journey has been one of discovery, learning, and a commitment to purity in every product we create.
